Food Pyramid


This blog is for my subject in school which requires me to write about the food pyramid and its importance. The food pyramid is designed to teach individuals how to eat a proper, balanced diet.

Nutrition experts would recommend a rainbow of fruits and vegetables to be eaten, which includes your daily serving of apples, grapes, bananas, lettuces, broccoli, tomatoes and etc. Eating these everyday is healthy because it contains different minerals and antioxidants.

A food pyramid is also a great way to lose weight or stay in shape. If you're one of those people who are conscious of your weight, then having a food pyramid guide would really be of help because you would know what to eat and what to avoid. I'm not saying you should really binge on the fast foods, your body needs them once in a while but you must have it controlled. Remember, too much cholesterol is bad for the heart.

So, I will be updating this blog often and spread awareness about the food pyramid for a better, healthier lifestyle.
